Happy New Year!

Instead of starting 2018 with the traditional resolutions which most of us break anyway. Let's begin this new year with by placing a bet, a challenge if you will.

I can say, with confidence, right now we are having the Best Year.

Furthermore, I can prove it!

I know your asking how I can make this statement - especially with confidence.

The answer is simple.

Because we exist and are alive.

Each day brings new challenges which in turn equally brings new opportunities to overcome those challenges and most important to learn from them.

Before you roll your eyes and think about moving on, let me tell you this is not just some Pollyanna - positive thinking ideal. I would like to make a friendly wager to anyone willing to take the challenge.

If you can prove me wrong in the statement I've presented above - you win.

To sweeten the pot even more!

I'm willing to lay all my cards out and show the evidence before you commit to the bet!

 Guaranteed this year will be filled with a multitude of negative events, from natural disasters to continued acts of violence and terrorism. We will suffer much loss individually and world wide. There will famine, oppression, hatred and ongoing fighting between countries , political ideologies and religions. We will see much darkness in this coming year.

Well I guess that whole positive thinking idea is being challenged! Doesn't this just make you look forward to the coming year.

Here's the little facts of science I mentioned earlier.
The only moment in time that we have to do anything is right now.  Now is the only time any actions can be taken therefore now is always the best time. The past is gone to history and the future is only potential.  At this very moment, all over the world good and bad things are happening all at the same time however it's not what happens - these are just events, its how we act or react that makes the difference.

Let's address another fact in physics.

Darkness is simply the lack of light. Therefore, light will always overpower darkness. For each negative action that we become aware of there are always massive amounts of people willing to work to make the situations better. To bring light to the darkness.
